Hand laid track and switches

When I started my Gauge 3 track I didn't know that you could buy track premade from Garden Railroad Specialists . I decided to hand laid my track, it looked great. And two years latter it started falling apart, after sevel trys I gave up and orderd sleepers from Garden Railroad Specialists. The 332 rail they use in the uk have a small base but it will work . I used 250 brass rail

It made not look as good but it works a lot better and I hope it last longer. I will still need to make the gauge 3 switches $300 apeice is a little rich

Trains

This has been the most difficult part of the learning curve, building a steam engine. you can buy all the books you can read all the manuals but you're still gonna need some help. From a person with experience !
